Where have I been?

At my actual blog

Tuesday, October 05, 2004

When something heinous is committed against someone I care about, it is inevitable that I go into a mental frenzy. Especially when it's something beyond my reach.

But all I can do right now is pray that everything will be ok and that the person in question stays strong and keeps on truckin'.

My thoughts are with you babygirl, I hope you know that.

Got one of these today http://www.wearyellow.com

Good times.

Posting here because I've flooded my other blog with more inane chatter so I though I'd bug you Xanga users. Not that anyone's even READING these...

Had a fire drill at work (pain in my tush) and had to walk down 30 floors, two flights each floor. By floor 22, the steps had started to merge into one big slope and by the time I got to the ground floor, my head was spinning.

Now... EVERYTHING'S spinning.

Skipping my workout yet again tonight to hang with my ladies. Going to a BMI Americana Music Awards dealy with free food and drinks. Bring it on.

Whoopi Goldberg got dumped by Slim Fast for some harsh words at the Democratic fund raiser in NY the other day. Go Whoopi, ever the trooper she just said, "I may not be the voice of these commercials anymore but I'll keep talking." Not a direct quote, it's the gist of her reaction.

Guess I'll get started on work. It's going to be another looooooong day.

Funny how a blog site can get this addictive. I haven't even strayed long and here I am, again, with another inane entry...

This site seems interesting... wonder what it will lead to?
